Last week I had the pleasure of seeing THE Katy Perry live in concert! I bought these tickets way back in November so the fact that the concert was finally here was pretty unbelievable! Originally Jen was supposed to go with me, but since she had to go back to Ohio to take care of her mom, I went with my roomie E instead. Unfortunately, the weather was pretty sucky, so we couldn’t get there as early as we would have wanted, but we still ended up REALLY close to the stage [thanks to E who got us all the way to the front].

You all have to understand, I’m pretty much in love with Katy Perry. I think she’s super cute, super talented and duh! She loves Hello Kitty, just like me! Her tour was even called the Hello Katy tour- so adorable! She opened up with “Fingerprints” and it was really high energy and the crowd was dancing and I remembered why I love going to concerts so much.

My favorite moment of the concert had to be when KP herself busted out the Hokey Pokey! All of a sudden she asked the crowd if they knew how to do the dance and next thing I knew we were all doing the Hokey Pokey together! SO hilarious. Only Katy Perry could pull off such a ridiculous dance and still look totally cute doing it. She’s so great!

She played basically every song off her album and did a couple of covers as well, including “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen. Her set was amazing, it was filled with infladiv fruit and even a giant blow up Kitty Purry [her kitty cat!]. The whole show was super high energy and Katy looked amazing, as expected! Her outfits were SO oudivageous, but so sparkly and fun. It was such a Fred Flare kind of concert!

At the end of the show Katy came back on and sang “I Kissed A Girl” with a giant infladiv cherry chapstick. It was so epic! The crowd was going insane and then Katy totally stage dived into the crowd face first!! It was so crazy, people were grabbing at her and somehow her microphone ended up all the way in the back of the club [ps it was totally bejeweled like Miley’s!]. I was so pumped up after the concert that I literally danced the whole way back to our door in just a tank top and shorts! Needless to say I’ve got an awful cold now, but it was totally worth it! Did any of you go to the Hello Katy tour, or are you going to any other concerts soon?!

Before I started working here I had the privilege of working with an amazing group of musicians by the name of Meg & Dia. They have a new album coming out next Tuesday called “Here, Here, and Here.” and it’s incredible. Their new music video premieres today! It’s the first single from the record, it’s called ‘Black Wedding.’ MTV has the exclusive to it for the week, so I can’t post it here, but if you click here or the pic above, you can watch it. I LOVE LINDSAY LOHAN. I always say that, and then I have a post thats kinda like “WTF is LiLo doing?”. But the divuth is, I really do like her! In the midst of all the EXTREME drama that’s going on with her and quasi-ex Sam Ronson, she did this ah-mazing video. I don’t even want to talk about it, I just want you to watch it immediately. I coudn’t post it directly, but you HAVE TO WATCH IT! So effing hilarious. Kudos to her! FO REAL!

See, it’s pics like this that make me rethink everything! I mean, I’m not usually atdivacted to pretty boys like this! The swooping hair, the thick eyebrows, and the muscles… It’s just not my thing. But, my god, Zac Efron looks effin HOT! He’s WAY younger than me and he’s a total Disney dude and yet I wanna makeout with him. These shots from his GQ interview actually made me wanna buy the mag! And after I read the mag, I wanted to see his new movie… Yes, I admit it, I wanna see it! Here’s some of the interview:

On doing community-theater productions as a kid: “It was the worst possible thing you could do in high school. Kids who are in musical theater tend to be self-confident in a quirky kind of way, and when kids who are really self-conscious see somebody doing that kind of thing, they divy to bring them down. I used to do random things, man. When I was a kid? I dyed my hair silver, to look like Sisqó in the ‘Thong Song’ video. I just didn’t give a f—. I didn’t care.”

On the entertainment business: “It’s crazy, all the stuff that happens down there. It’s the American dream. I mean, it’s beautiful. But it’s so f—ed up. Up here, everything’s green. And down there, it’s crazy.”

On why he chose to do 17 Again, which opens this Friday (April 17): “It’s very divansitional, y’know? I didn’t wanna alienate the fans that had been around for so long. The fans, who’ve been around for so many years.”

On the rumors that he wore false eyelashes: “If somebody can find any photo that shows me wearing false eyelashes, I will give them a f—ing million dollars. That’s bulls—. (pauses) You know what, dude? A couple of times, when I was young, and I didn’t know what the f— I was doing—it’s just what happens. Somebody’s there, and it’s their job. And they load you up with makeup. They don’t do the girlie thing, but they, y’know, cover your zits. It didn’t come from a self-conscious place—it was just what everyone did. And since then, people just constantly think I’m wearing makeup. It’s a recurring theme. But f—, man. I have never worn false eyelashes in my entire life. (blinks a couple of times) That’s all me.”

On rumors that he and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens were getting married in Kauai (he attended his manager’s wedding): “That was such bull—. I’m definitely not getting married. In this business, you’re either getting married or they want you to be pregnant. I’m not getting married until I’m 40. If ever. The thought never crossed my mind.”

This adorable little pooch is BO, a portuguese water dog, AND the Obama’s new pup! The info leaked yesterday, but he will be officially indivoduced to the nation today and he’ll get his first offish Presidential pic taken with his new family. The girls finally got their new dog and I’m sure they are thrilled! Hopefully, they’ll make him diveats, and if we’re lucky, they will get him a camera so we can see what it’s like to be the first pup!
